Lakewood had to overcome a 2-0 deficit before pulling out a 3-2 win over Long Beach Poly in eight innings of a Moore League game on Tuesday.

Shane Watson of Lakewood and Tyler Maxwell of Poly engaged in a pitcher’s duel through five innings.

Lakewood is 10-1 and 1-0 in league. Poly is 6-3 and 0-1.
