Football: Redlands East Valley leads Mission Viejo, 3-0

David Massuere kicked a 22-yard field goal with 6:29 left in the second quarter to give Redlands East Valley a 3-0 lead.

The Wildcats managed to get to the Mission Viejo 2-yard line thanks to a 35-yard catch by Jesse Riley and a six-yard run by quarterback Austin Decoud.

However, a Redlands East Valley penalty and three great defensive stops by Mission Viejo kept the Wildcats out of the end zone.
