The Southern California division of Fluor Engineers, a unit of the Fluor Corp., Tuesday announced a $46-million engineering and construction contract from the Sun Refining and Marketing Co. of Philadelphia. Sun Refining is a subsidiary of the Sun Company in Radnor, Pa.
The contract calls for Fluor Engineers to modernize Sun’s Toledo, Ohio, refinery to improve its efficiency. Fluor has overall engineering, construction and procurement responsibilities for the project, which is scheduled to be completed by October.
Irvine-based Fluor Corp. is an engineering, construction and natural resources management company.
