Kamanski Leads UCSD to Win Over Redlands

SAN DIEGO — Sophomore guard Greg Kamanski hit 12 of 16 shots from the field and scored a career-high 24 points Friday night to lead the UC San Diego men’s basketball team past Redlands, 99-89, at UCSD.
Kamanski led a 9-0 spurt at the beginning of the second half, which helped the Tritons (9-6, 7-0 vs. Division 3 competition) overcome a 37-35 halftime deficit and take a 44-37 lead. Redlands never got closer than three points the rest of the game.
