John R. Thomas, who retired in September as a managing partner with the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, has been named to the boards of directors of Mission Viejo National Bank and its holding company, Viejo Bancorp. Thomas is vice president of Regional Resources Inc. of Newport Beach.
