Local News in Brief : Park, Ride Lot Opens in North Hollywood

A 120-space park-and-ride lot opened Wednesday in North Hollywood, on Oxnard Street across from the Laurel Plaza shopping center, Caltrans officials said.
Vehicles can park free in the lot. Four spaces are reserved for the handicapped. Stopping at the lot will be Southern California Rapid Transit District Bus Line 96, a local route serving employment centers in Burbank, and Line 412, an express bus to downtown Los Angeles.
