Mesa Beats Mira Costa

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Mesa College women’s basketball team scored 15 straight points early in the second half en route to a 58-31 win over Mira Costa in a Pacific Coast Conference game on Wednesday at Mesa College.
Shannon Thompson led Mesa (11-7 overall, 4-1 in the PCC) with 14 points and Michele Loo added 12 points and 7 assists. Kim Allen led Mira Costa (4-11, 2-3) with 20 points.
