Fifteen homeowners spoke Tuesday at a Planning Department hearing in favor of a proposal to establish a three-story building limit on National and Palms boulevards where they intersect with Sepulveda, Sawtelle and Westwood boulevards and Barrington and Centinela avenues.
Several of the residents said they feared the intrusion of more buildings such as the Pepperdine Center in their neighborhood. The building, on Sepulveda near the corner of Palms, brings traffic, litter and other problems, they said.
The Planning Commission will consider the building height limit in four or five weeks.
