WASHINGTON — President Reagan said Monday that if it does not stop snowing in the nation’s capital soon, “I’m going to paint the White House green.”
It has been an especially cold winter in the city, and there was a 30% chance of more snow late in the day.
The President plans to enjoy California’s warmer climate later this month. He will be at his mountaintop ranch near Santa Barbara from Feb. 13-17.
