The 72-unit first phase of construction at Park Place/Century City, four-story condominium complex, a development of Watt Luxury Housing Inc.,is nearing completion.
About 85% of the two- and three-bedroom homes, priced from $252,000 to $355,000, have been sold, a spokesman said, even though five model units, covering from 1,300 to 1,550 square feet, are not scheduled to open until June.
Eventually, Park Place will include 432 town houses in a project of six four-story structures on a 14-acre site. Its Mediterranean architecture was designed by Nadel/Shapiro Partners of Santa Monica. It will have four lighted tennis courts and three swimming pools. Each building will include a gymnasium, sauna and spa.
The complex is at 10101 Galaxy Way, between Avenue of the Stars and Century Park East. Watt has two other developments in Century City, Century Hill, 280-unit condominium which sold out in six months in 1978, and the currently selling Century Woods.
