Orange’s Hendry Is Century MVP

Orange High School’s 6-foot 6-inch senior center Eric Hendry, who averaged 16 points per game to lead the Panthers to the Century League basketball championship, was named the league’s Most Valuable Player, and Orange Coach Ed Graham was named its Coach of the Year.
The first team includes El Modena’s Ryan Rycraw (6-0 junior) and Colin Moss (6-6 senior); Orange’s David Roth (6-4 junior); Santa Ana’s Roger Flores (6-5 senior); Villa Park’s Matt Koob (6-1 senior); Santa Ana Valley’s Alonzo Jamison (6-5 junior) and Foothill’s Jud Dutrisac (6-0 senior).
The second team includes Canyon’s Chris Rippe (5-11 senior); Orange’s Matt McIntire (5-10 senior); Tustin’s Kevin Anderson (5-11 junior); Santa Ana’s Eric Turner (6-5 junior) and Foothill’s Ralph Laird (6-5 junior).
