Aztecs Defeat Point Loma

San Diego State pitcher David Provencher struck out eight batters in five innings to lead the Aztecs to a 7-0 win over Point Loma-Nazarene in nonconference baseball action Monday night at Smith Field.
Mark Grace went 3 for 5 for SDSU with two RBIs.
The left-handed Provencher (1-0) got the win while Marty Honea took the loss. The Aztecs are 11-6 while Point Loma is 4-11.
