Lawhon will acquire the W & J Sloane name.

Los Angeles-based RB Industries and John F. Lawhon Furniture Co. reported that RB, through its wholly owned subsidiary W & J Sloane Inc., has agreed in principle that Lawhon will acquire the Sloane name nationally. However, RB will retain exclusive rights to the name in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties. Included in the sale to Lawhon are the assets and leases of five W & J Sloane stores in San Diego County, Bakersfield and Las Vegas.
