Arabs Should Be Ousted From Israel, Kahane Declares

BOSTON — Extremist Rabbi Meir Kahane said Arabs should be thrown out of Israel just as Jews were expelled from Germany, Poland and Czechoslovakia during World War II.
“When I become prime minister, not a single Arab will be killed in Israel because not a single Arab will be there,” declared Kahane, founder of the militant Jewish Defense League and a member of the Israeli Parliament.
Kahane debated Harvard Law School Prof. Alan Dershowitz on Monday night before about 650 people at Boston’s Old South Meeting House.
Dershowitz said Kahane appeals to “the segment of the Israeli population that shares his racist views.”
He called for compromise in dealing with Arabs and Jews, adding, “We have never had a better opportunity for peace in the Middle East.”
