General Mills Inc., Minneapolis, reported a loss of $74.1 million for its fiscal third quarter ended Feb. 24, citing charges related to its previously announced decision to sell its fashion businesses and spin off the toy group as a free-standing company. The loss compares to net income of $38.7 million a year earlier. Revenue for the three months edged up to $1.098 billion from $1.051 billion a year ago. The fashion group includes goods marketed under the Monet, Izod, Foot Joy, Lacoste and Ship ‘n Shore labels.
