3 Finnish Seamen Hurt in Soviet Freighter Crash

HELSINKI, Finland — Three Finnish seamen were injured Saturday when their cargo ship collided with a Soviet freighter 40 miles east of Helsinki, Finnish coast guards said.
The 14,800-ton Finnish ship Salla is lying partly submerged, listing at an angle of about 45 degrees, after the crash with the Soviet freighter Abacanles. Its crew was evacuated.
The Soviet vessel, proceeding under tow to Leningrad, was said to have sustained little damage.
