36 Single-Family Homes in Corona del Mar Open Today

Gfeller Development Co. will introduce 36 single-family homes this weekend at its Summer Wind development on the beach side of Coast Highway in Corona del Mar.
The community, with sales office at 614 Carnation Drive, is offering three two-story plans sized from 2,032 to 2,610 square feet, with three or four bedrooms and 2 1/2 and three baths. Prices range from $359,000 to $517,000.
Designed by Kermit Dorius, the exteriors are shingle or lap siding, with stone or brick chimneys and detailed window treatments. Each home has an attached two-car garage with automatic door opener and outdoor gas barbecue.
Interiors include ceramic tile or wood parquet entryway, carpeting, masonry, wood-burning fireplace, master suite with private dressing room, fully equipped kitchens with hand-finished oak cabinetry.
The homes reflect particular life styles of prospective buyers: the Seabreeze model, where the family room is the central activity area; the Shoreline plan, separating the living room from a library, and the Gardenwalk with more of a focus on formal entertainment areas.
Model homes decorated by Creative Design Consultants are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
