Swain Scores Racquetball Upset

Unseeded Cliff Swain pulled off his second straight upset, an 11-3, 7-11, 11-2, 6-11, 11-3 win over fifth-seeded Dave Peck, Saturday at The Sports Gallery in Anaheim to advance to the championship of the $40,000 Ektelon National Racquetball Championships.
Swain, who stunned top-seeded Marty Hogan on Friday, will meet Gregg Peck in the championship match today at 4 p.m. Peck beat Mike Yellen, 11-7, 11-2, 4-11, 11-2, to reach the final. The winner of the championship match will receive $10,000.
Lynn Adams of Costa Mesa, seeking her first Ektelon title, beat Marci Drexler of North Hollywood, 21-10, 21-6, 21-11, to advance to the finals.
