Capistrano Valley High Defeats Palos Verdes, 4-2

Capistrano Valley High School defeated Palos Verdes, 4-2, in a nonleague baseball game at Palos Verdes on Monday. The Cougars scored two runs in the fourth inning to break a 2-2 tie.
Brett August went 3 for 3 to help junior pitcher Scott Stark improve his record to 2-0. Stark went the distance, walking only one ans striking out seven.
Capistrano Valley improved its record to 10-13.
