Saddleback Qualifies for State Tournament

Saddleback College won the eight-team community college Southern California Golf Championships at Western Hills in Chino on Monday with a combined team score of 754. The Gauchos won the 36-hole tournament by beating Rio Hondo, which finished second with 768. Santa Ana was in fifth with 775.
Mark Chun was Saddleback’s individual medalist, shooting rounds of 74 and 73 for a 147 total.
