AIA Presents Scholarships to Students

Scholarships totaling $175,800 have been awarded to 226 undergraduate students at 79 accredited U. S. and Canadian schools of architecture and to four professionals for 1985-86, by the American Institute of Architects and the AIA Foundation.
California recipients include Jo Schneider, UCLA; Walter Allen and Scott Waldroff, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo; Jacqueline Karsevar and Christina McNeil, Cal Poly Pomona, and Ted Clark, James Jensen, Jon Daseking, Austine Warren and David Foley, UC Berkeley.
The annual scholarships assist students in accredited first-professional-degree programs. This year’s awards ranged from $500 to $2,000.
