San Gabriel Boulevard will be rebuilt and widened to handle four lanes of traffic between the Pomona Freeway and Lincoln Avenue near the southern tip of Rosemead under a $449,248 contract awarded by county supervisors to Security Paving Co. Inc. of Sun Valley. The work is scheduled for completion before the opening this fall of a regional shopping center along the freeway, west of San Gabriel Boulevard.
