Federal authorities were investigating the crash of a small plane that killed the pilot and left his passenger seriously injured. Rick Wallman, 32, of Thousand Oaks died at a nearby hospital shortly after the plane crashed in the mountains just behind Moorpark College in Ventura County. Pat Perry, 34, of Woodland Hills was in serious condition with multiple internal injuries. The single-engine Globe Swift airplane was flying from Camarillo Airport on a pleasure flight, officials said.
