Ruscitto and Tellers Are Voted Orange Co-MVPs

Valencia High School outfielder Andy Ruscitto, who set an Orange County record with 12 home runs this season, and Western pitcher David Tellers, who went 11-3 to lead the Pioneers to a share of the Orange League championship with the Tigers, were named Co-Most Valuable Players of the league.
Valencia’s Kevin McConnell and Western’s Dave Bowman were named Co-Coaches of the Year. The first team includes pitchers Tim Pittman (Savanna) and Carlos Gonzales (Magnolia), catcher Chris Chase (Western), utility player Richard Lodding (Western), infielders Robert Brocki (Savanna), Fred Camarena (Brea-Olinda), Jim Campanis (Valencia), Mike Frabotta (Western) and John Hangartner (Magnolia), and outfielders Troy Barnhart (Valencia), Carl Holmes (Magnolia), Mike Oziminski (Brea-Olinda) and John Wells (Brea-Olinda).
The second team includes pitchers David Kain (Brea-Olinda) and Robert Lee (Savanna), catchers Ron Terrill (Valencia) and Scott Shirey (Brea-Olinda), utility player Aaron Jara (Anaheim), infielders Paul Boucher (Western), Tim Churchill (Valencia), Jay Hannah (Magnolia), Trevor Hoffman (Savanna), Tony Sizemore (Brea-Olinda) and Tim Wickell (Savanna), and outfielders Randy Garcia (Valencia), Manual Rodriguez (Magnolia), Miguel Salas (Savanna) and John Scudellari (Savanna).
