Local News in Brief : Man Found Dead in Canyon Identified

Aman found dead Friday in the Porter Ranch area has been identified as Robert William Womack, according to the county coroner’s office.
Womack, 24, was a resident of the Los Angeles area, a coroner’s spokeswoman said.
Womack’s body was found Friday by an off-duty Los Angeles police officer who was riding his horse in an undeveloped canyon in Granada Hills.
The cause of Womack’s death has not been determined, the spokeswoman said.
