A deliveryman was burned to death Tuesday when his van collided with a dump truck on Interstate 15. Henry (Nick) Anthony Naccari, 61, of San Diego, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the dump truck, James Adams, 38, of El Cajon, was not injured.
The vehicles were headed north in the right-hand lane between Friars Road and Aero Drive at 10:20 a.m. The van, traveling 55 m.p.h., rear-ended the truck, which was going 35 m.p.h., and burst into flames, the California Highway Patrol reported. Naccari was a driver for Sam’s Electronic Assembly Inc.
