The Beverly Hills Unlisted Jazz Band will formally open the 250-seat entertainment tent on the Santa Monica Pier with a free concert June 20. The 7 p.m. show is the first in a series of concerts that will be held under the new tent, which was paid for with a $27,000 grant from the California Coastal Conservancy. The concert series is sponsored by the Santa Monica Pier Restoration Corp.
