Missing L.A. Reporter Found

WEAVERVILLE, Calif. — Rescue workers found a missing Los Angeles Daily Journal reporter in good condition in the Trinity Alps today, ending a four-day search for the woman who had disappeared while hiking.
Gail Diane Cox, 39, of Burbank was found about 10 a.m., Trinity County Sheriff’s Deputy Chuck Sanborn said. The county government reporter was reported missing after failing to return to her rented cabin Monday night at Bonanza King Resort west of Redding, authorities said.
