Design Work Awarded To L.A. Architects

The Los Angeles architectural and interior design firm Felderman and Associates Inc. will receive a $4,000 design fee and $1,000 cash award as the winner of a design competition sponsored by the Newport Harbor Art Museum and the Orange County Chapter of the Americn Institute of Architects.
As the winner of the three month contest, Felderman and Associates will design various elements of the museum’s upcoming exhibits, “The critical edge: Controversy in Recent American Architecture” and “Future Furniture,”which open July 28.
“The Critical Edge” will trace significant changes in contemporary American architecture, while “Future Furniture” will show changing styles in furniture design. Both exhibits will run through Sept. 22.
