Carlisle and Aitken Share Skeet Lead

Dan Carlisle of Conroe, Tex., and Richard Aitken of Phoenix, Ariz., tied for the early lead in the international skeet shooting competition Monday at the U.S. International Shooting Championships in Chino.
Both shooters broke 74 of the 75 targets thrown on the first day of this event, which lasts five days at Prado Tiro, the 1984 Olympic Shooting facility.
Three shooters were tied for third with 73 targets: Joe Dickson, Fort Benning, Ga.; Carl Posten, Knoxville, Tenn.; and Dean Clark, San Diego.
