NBC’s coverage of the French Open and Wimbledon was dreadful! The Navratilova-Garrison semifinal was shown by Home Box Office at 9 a.m. on July 4. The reasonable expectation would be that the Evert Lloyd-Rinaldi match would then be seen on NBC at 1 p.m. Instead, NBC showed the same (Navratilova) match, then announced two hours later that the Lloyd semifinal would not be shown until 12:45 a.m. Who schedules these things?
