Heckler Enters Hospital to Undergo Hysterectomy

WASHINGTON — Health and Human Services Secretary Margaret M. Heckler entered a Washington hospital Monday to undergo a hysterectomy, the department announced.
It said that Heckler, 54, entered Columbia Hospital for Women and will undergo surgery today. The department said that the surgery was elective.
