Westworld Community Healthcare, Inc. announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire North Kern Hospital in Wasco from a private owner for about $1.6 million in cash and notes. The 25-bed hospital brings the total number of health care systems owned by the Lake Forest company to 35, with 11 of those in California.
