Four-time Boston Marathon winner Bill Rodgers won the Jones Intercable 10K Cable Stars Run in Oxnard with a time of 29 minutes 3 seconds
Elaine Campo-Triplett of Santa Barbara won the women’s division with a time of 37:08.
In the 5K division, Steve Blum of Oxnard won in 15:48. Anne Hayden of Santa Barbara led the women in 18:19.
A total of 768 runners participated in the charity run, which benefited the Special Olympics. A spokeswoman said that the event raised $70,000 last year and that organizers hope to collect $100,000 this year.
