Missing Girl Back in L.A.

An 8-year-old Carson girl, who had been reported missing for more than a week, returned to Los Angeles Saturday aboard a jet from Miami.
FBI agents in Miami put Tiffanie Jean Odell on a flight to Los Angeles International Airport, where she was met by her mother and stepfather, said Deputy Steven Lee of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The child had been spirited away from her school in Wilmington on Sept. 11 by someone who took her to her maternal grandparents, who took her to their home in the Dominican Republic, Lee said.
Sheriff’s officials said they do not know how the child returned to Miami.
