In the Sept. 8 Viewers’ Views, there were letters from readers who are unhappy with the way TV handles movies, programs, etc. There is one very good answer: Do not turn your set on. If enough viewers leave their sets off, the programmers will take note. But as long as people watch anything at any time of the day or night, then they may as well get used to the lack of quality because it will not get better.
