Anayis Derdiarian, assistant professor at UCLA, has received the American Cancer Society’s national professorship in oncology nursing for her contributions in the field. UCLA psychologist David Wellisch also was honored for his work on the psycho-social effects of breast cancer. They were among 26 honored at the 11th annual American Cancer Society’s Coastal Cities Volunteer Awards Banquet.
