A tree trimmer was killed when a palm branch struck a high-voltage line while he was working in the 3700 block of West 57th Street in the Windsor Hills area, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported. He was identified by the coroner’s office as Rogelio Esquer, 23, of La Puente, an employee of a private tree-trimming firm.
