Our stay at the Old Monterey Inn was the outstanding highlight of our trip. We were following Jerry Hulse’s Feb. 24 recommendation and thank him for this super find. The innkeepers and staff were delightfully helpful (there is nothing to match a family-operated inn). The setting and the grounds are beautiful--we truly can’t wait to go back. The small amenities that mean so much, the elaborate breakfast delivered to our room, before the fireplace or on a sunny day in the breathtaking gardens.
