A ‘Fitting Replacement’

Regarding the article “Liberal Democrat Succeeds Ken Edwards” (Times, Oct. 17) I believe those living in Santa Monica will find Alan Katz, the new Santa Monica City Council member, will work hard to be a fitting replacement for Ken Edwards. During the past 16 years, while working with Mr. Katz on community projects, I have found him to be a creative, professional, concerned community activist. I know the coming year will be a productive one for Mr. Katz and the Santa Monica community.
