The Toreros, who finished in fourth place in the West Coast Athletic Conference last season with a 5-7 record (16-11) overall, will be starting their second season under Coach Hank Egan.
USD will be led by 7-foot center Scott Thompson and figure to be boosted by the return of 6-4 guard Mark Bostic, who missed the 1984-85 season because of a broken ankle.
AIA, the sports representative of the International Christian Graduate University, is now based in San Diego and features former NBA players Lorenzo Romar and Tracy Jackson.
