Professor Named to Panel: Judith Hails-Kaci, a professor at Cal State Long Beach, has been named by county Supervisor Roger Stanton to the Commission on the Status of Women, representing the county’s first district. Hails-Kaci, of Fountain Valley, has been a professor for 16 years in the CSULB criminal justice department. Stanton also reappointed Margaret Ramsey, president of the Orange County Council for Better Education, to another two-year term on the commission.
