San Diego State Sweeps Irvine in Volleyball

SAN DIEGO — Angelica Jackson had 12 kills and Rene Pankopf had 9 kills and 2 service aces Tuesday night as San Diego State swept UC Irvine, 15-8, 15-6, 15-10, in a PCAA women’s volleyball game at Peterson Gym.
The Aztecs, who evened their conference record at 7-7, are 24-17 overall. Kris Roberts had 10 kills for UC Irvine, which fell to 0-15 and 7-15.
