Saddleback College Women Defeat Glendale

Freshman center Cheryl Eiland had 22 points, 26 rebounds and 10 blocked shots to lead Saddleback College to a 95-43 win over Glendale in a women’s basketball season opener Tuesday night at Saddleback.
Eiland combined with sophomore Connie Waikle to dominate play around the basket. Waikle had 18 points, 18 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Sue Siam led Glendale scorers with 13 points.
