DANCE L.A. PERFORMANCE CANCELED
Tonight’s scheduled opening performance on the Dance L.A. Dance weekend series at the Wiltern Theatre has been canceled, due to poor ticket sales, according to a spokesman for the Inner City Cultural Center, one of the event’s sponsors.
The originally scheduled programs, on Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m., will go on as scheduled, blending the originally scheduled program--danced by members of the Bella Lewitzky, Alvin Ailey, Joyce Trisler, Inner City Cultural Center and Dance Theater of Harlem companies--with the program originally set for tonight (featuring choreography by Ruby Milsap, L. Martina Young and Ferne Ackerman).
Tickets already purchased for the opening program will be honored at either the Saturday night or Sunday afternoon program. For information, call (213) 387-1161.
