Most Sites Are Set for Second Round

Most sites for Friday night’s second-round football games in the CIF Southern Section playoffs have been determined, but Servite (9-2) is still searching for a stadium for its Big Five Conference game against Edison (9-2).

In the Big Five Conference, Mater Dei (8-3) will play Westminster (7-4) at Orange Coast College. Bishop Amat (11-0) will play Marina (7-3-1) at Westminster High School.

In Southern Conference quarterfinals, El Modena (10-1) will travel to Capistrano Valley (9-1-1), Mission Viejo (9-1-1) will play host to Foothill (9-2), Santa Ana (7-4) will play host to Pacifica (8-3) at Santa Ana Stadium and Los Alamitos (10-1) will play host to El Toro (8-3) at Gahr High School.

In the Central Conference, Newport Harbor (9-2) will play at La Mirada (9-2), Saddleback (10-1) will play Valencia (9-2) at Irvine High School and La Habra (9-2) will play host to Artesia (8-3).

Sonora (5-6) drew a home game against La Quinta (9-2) but a site hsd not been set.
