Seal Travels in Style to Winter Quarters

ROCKPORT, Me. — Andre the seal, “anxious as hell” to get to his winter home at a Connecticut aquarium, rode south in style today in the back of a station wagon.
The Atlantic harbor seal, adopted by Rockport after he was found as an orphaned pup 24 years ago, was packed in a carrying case and driven from Rockport to the Mystic Marinelife Aquarium in Mystic, Conn., said Harry Goodridge, the seal’s trainer.
