Notre Dame 44, Thousand Oaks 34 HIGHLIGHTS: Notre Dame turned in an outstanding defensive performance in scoring its first win at Thousand Oaks in the last eight years, holding Thousand Oaks to seven points and causing 12 turnovers in the first half to take a 20-7 halftime lead. . . Thousand Oaks hit only one of eight field goal attempts in the first quarter and two of 10 in the second quarter. Notre Dame outrebounded Thousand Oaks, 40-24. SCORING LEADERS: John Perak (ND) 18; Scott Brewster (ND) 13; Alex Horosny (ND) 8. REBOUND LEADERS: Alex Horosny (ND) 18; John Perak (ND) 9 ASSIST LEADERS: Josh Oppenheimer, Alex Horosny and Fernando Escala, (ND) 3 assists each.
