Girls’ Basketball Roundup : Undefeated Esperanza Gains 46-41 Victory Over Foothill

Sharon Warmus scored 18 points Friday night to lead undefeated Esperanza High School to a 46-41 win over Foothill in a semifinal game of the Brea-Olinda Tournament.
The Aztecs improved to 5-0. Foothill was led by Chris McPherson, who had 14 points.
In other Brea-Olinda Tournament action:
Woodbridge 51, Alta Loma 37--Woodbridge held Alta Loma to one point in the second quarter to pull away in consolation play. Diana Zilko paced Woodbridge (3-3) with 13 points and 11 rebounds, and sophomore Kathy Millat had 11 points and 13 rebounds.
In nonleague action:
Fullerton 68, Kennedy 26--Noelle Heusser scored 17 points and Vicki Silva added 16 to lead the Indians (5-2) to an easy win over the host Irish.
