HIGHLIGHTS: The Knights fell behind in the first period, 14-8, as Lety Pantoja, Lety Garcia and Tori Diaz each scored four points for Carpinteria. . . . The game turned around for LA Baptist when guard Sheri Harris scored 12 points in the next period and the Knights were able to run their fast break in taking a 26-20 halftime lead. . . . Guard Dawn Boroline scored 19 points in the second half to secure the Knight’s second win in five nonleague games.
